  Why doesn't Lloyd take his own advise on point 8? Lloyd Evans, you have people from all over the world's permission to go away and find a new way to make money.

  Lloyd's been threatening to quit for years. He did the same when he was here, threatening to leave for good and quit activism when a thread wasn't going his way. It's his way of drumming up comments begging him to stay and it's safe to say he gets off on it.

  He simply can't quit due to the fact he has nothing else. He is not fluent in Croatian and unless he wants to pick tomatoes and raise chickens for the in-laws, he's unemployable where he is currently at. If his activism gets to the point where it's not pulling in enough money and his wife/in-laws finally show him the door, he'd be forced to return to the UK and work an entry level job. "I made YouTube videos for years about Jehovah's Witnesses" is not something that looks great on a C.V.

  I think Tibor should scrape together jobs he has done “other than” the John Cedars channel to fill in the “time he spent” working for Lloyd when he writes up his current resumé.

  That's just it. This isn't real "job" experience any more than if you helped your local dog shelter set up their web page and got paid for it. If he thinks whatever real job he is going to go for is going to take a reference from this slovenly British man living out of his Croatian in-law's attic then he's sadly mistaken. The reference itself would be all about him and a complete joke...

  I don’t want Tibor to be unemployed, but I’m genuinely curious as 540 was the level he had to reach to hire a video editor.

  The benchmarks are only marketing techniques designed to encourage more patronage by promising new and better things. There is a number in that fat head of his where he will have to lay Tibor off, but I don't think it is yet. To sack him would be an admission of failure and contrary to his claims on the Gold interview that the majority still support him. But make no mistake, he's seething inside and you'll see a lot of cancelled Patron calls and such with the rationalisation that it's no longer a priority due to the loss of income.

  I wouldn't worry about Tibor. If he's basing his financial strategy on how much he can draw from a notoriously cheap and dishonest man with a variable revenue stream who also admitted on camera to using company funds on sex workers, then the guy needs a slap of reality.

  I’m curious if the Patreon algorithm drops the higher goal when there is more than one unmet one. Reason I ask is that he’s going to look goofy having two up there that are unsatisfied.

  Even funnier would be if Patreon has a bot account that emails him after all these losses and he absolutely loses his shit because he can’t issue a snide comeback at a bot. Something like “Is Everything OK? Here are tips to increase your patronage!”

  This video is a huge LOL... He assembles a "team" which consisted of Tibor, his cameraman and a Ukrainian interpreter carrying over a van half full of supplies. No less than two times did he compare his plight during the Croatian earthquake to those of the refugees, the last time directly to the Ukrainians themselves.

  We haven't even talked about the challenges of bringing court cases in a non-English-speaking court when the whole focus is on what has been said in English. So how does that work?

  I have some background in court cases that have considered evidence in another language. The Croatian judge doesn't just switch to English in the courtroom and assume everyone has to follow along. This is the reason there are official languages in many countries, and in case you are wondering, Croatian is the sole recognised language there. This will present difficulties in sorting through the "evidence", none of which is in Croatian. A translation company that is approved (and paid for) by the court and bonded must be hired. They need to fill out an affidavit swearing under oath that the translation was conducted to the best of their knowledge. The translator(s) could be called to the stand to testify.

  And these are not only social media posts, but YouTube videos what must be first transcribed and then translated into Croatian. Not just the parts Lloyd thinks are relevant, but the entire video, some of which are well over an hour long. For any defense, this would be an opportunity to really bog down the case and make it complicated over what a particular phrase or chain of words mean in the speaker's particular English dialect.

  All this trouble and government money wasted because Lloyd feels he's being slandered online. I'd be curious to get whatever statement the court releases in dismissal of this case translated for pure entertainment purposes.
